At EVPESC, we actively support all our students’ diverse needs. Our dedicated teams ensure that students’ sensory needs are met throughout the day, enabling them to engage fully in all activities.
We offer a range of tools, methods and strategies, including a sensory room. This calming, supportive space engages students’ senses through light, sound, and tactile experiences. The room helps reduce anxieties, improve focus, and enhance emotional regulation, providing a safe environment for students to explore, relax, and recharge.
In addition to the sensory room, we incorporate sensory tools and structured breaks within the classroom to promote positive sensory development and self-regulation. We aim to promote emotional and social growth, empowering students to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
We also promote sustainability through the use of reusable materials and minimise waste by recycling. Our Containers for Change program further supports these efforts, with all funds raised going toward the upkeep of the garden, and we reduce waste by composting as much as possible.
